Unique, tangy, classic.
Made from the Friulano variety, typical to the extreme northeast of Italy in the region of Friuli, I've been reviewing this delightful wine for the past six vintages.
This year stays classic to its style; lanolin/beeswax with lemon curds, nettle and green almond with a mineral core. The palate is lean and tangy; citrus pith and kaffir lime with more bitter almond, which mimics the nose. A racy and food friendly wine.
Pair: fish, salads, appetizers, spaghetti e oilio or cheese and veg quiche.
