Rustic, fresh, toasted.
From the central north region of Dao this Touriga-Nacional, Alfrocheiro and Tinta Roriz blend offers decent value.
Notes of wild red berries, dried herbs, tea leaf and botanical, toasted spices, leather lead to rustic, earthy undertones. It has a textural palate and quite brooding flavours of cocoa and spices, espresso and tobacco. Overall, good freshness and a medium-length finish.
