Dry, juicy, balanced.
Clos du Soleil's 2025 rose is made from a blend of grapes including Marquette, a cold-hardy hybrid variety.
It has an orange-salmony hue and aromas of small red berries, wild herbs, Mandarin orange, tobacco and vague earthy notes. The palate is dry and juicy and dominated by tart red berry flavours layered with herbs, leather and dried flowers. It has good balance and more serious structure than many pink wines. The finish trails flavours of citrus peel.
Pair: Picnic fare, mushroom dishes, grilled salmon or pork, cheese and tapas platters, etc.
