Unique, tangy, classic.
Made from the Friulano variety, typical to the extreme northeast of Italy in the region of Friuli, I've been reviewing this delightful wine for the past six vintages.
It remains consistent and well-prepared with honey and green almond, lemon oil and resin, wet stone, straw and yellow fruits. It has an oily texture to mimic the nose and oodles of citrus peel on the palate layered with star fruit, lemon bitters and cold tea flavours. A wonderful mouthfeel.
Pair: fish, salads, appetizers, spaghetti e oilio or cheese and veg quiche.
