CedarCreek is now fully certified organic and this estate Pinot is harvested from CedarCreek's Home Vineyard. It was fermented with wild yeasts in concrete and stainless vessels then aged 12 months in French oak.
Expect fragrant notes of cherry and star anise, vanilla, cedar, cocoa, wild herbs and forest floor. The palate is silky and laden with juicy red berries, cedar, tobacco and savoury spices and herbs. Good freshness and balance here--a classic.
Pair: Mushroom Wellington, roasted beet risotto or grilled salmon.
