Silky, elegant, woven.
Located in Chile's far northern semi-arid winegrowing region known as Elqui Valley, Falernia makes a wide selection of fresh and succulent red and white wines.
This single vineyard, Aaron (named after the winemaker's son) is located 18km from the Pacific Ocean and planted on rocky soils.
Notes of rhubarb, forest floor and charred herbs, toasted spice, leather and bacon fat are layered with sour cherry and star anise. The palate is the clincher; silky and elegant it offers juicy red fruit, cocoa, forest floor and tealeaf flavours. The finish is long and beautifully woven.
