Fizzy, fresh, tasty.
The XC fizz was made from grapes grown in OCP's Summerland and Oliver vineyards. Its second (bubble inducing) fermentation took place in the winery's state-of-the-art charmat tanks, which are designed to lie on their sides, exactly like traditionally-made sparkling wine is aged, but in its own bottle the XC is Roman numerals for 90, the days the wine remains in those tanks.
A pale salmony-pink it delivers juicy aromas of summer berries and peach fuzz, bread dough and orange blossoms. It's fizzy and fresh with a creamy edge. Sweet red delicious apples and tangerine spritz flavours linger on the palate. Approachable, pristine and very tasty.
Made mostly from: Pinot Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
