Racy, lovely, slick.
Pioneering one of BC's youngest wine regions, Fort Berens (named after a trading post, which was located on their property some 150 years ago) is located in the sub-GI of Lillooet, BC in the Fraser Canyon.
The Gruner grapes come from their estate, Red Rock Vineyards in Lillooet, was fermented in oak and stainless and it had extended lees contact (four months).
Expect lime and green apples, honeydew melon, spring flowers and straw aromas. The palette is racy and slick with plenty of crunchy tree fruits, white flowers and citrus flavours.
Lovely.
