Classic, elegant, fresh.
From the vaults of a medieval castle in Radda, this premier Chianti was grown on some of the highest hills in the Classico region; the vines carefully selected over centuries. 2016 for them was exceptional, and this premium tier 100% Sangiovese delivers wild red berries, leather and balsamic, prune, coffee and salted licorice aromas. It has great body and freshness, a powerful character and notable sapidity. Elegant and still youthful it trails tobacco, toasted spice and leather flavours.
