Velvety, fragrant, brooding.
Moon Curser is a boutique Osoyoos-based winery is known to produce a unique assortment of varietals rarely seen in the Okanagan Valley. Wines like this 100% Petit Verdot (generally a blending variety). It was aged in a mix of new and neutral French oak barriques. Expect a velvety nose of blueberries, black raspberries and chocolate, licorice, vanilla, pipe tobacco and baking spices. The entry is supple, the tannins take charge and it has notable earthy undertones. Less fruity than the nose suggests, the palate is definitely more brooding. The finish is smoky.
