Classic, supple, lemony.
Blue Mountain's 2022 four clone blend of Chardonnays (76, 95, 96, 548) was fermented using native (to the estate) yeasts and was aged 14 months in a mix of new-and-up-to three-year-old French oak barrels.
It has grilled lemon and yellow fruit aromas mixed with buttered toast, roasted spice, acacia and hazelnut aromas. It has a classic Chablis-like character, a supple weight and lightly creamy texture with notable acidity and a toasted, citrus and coriander flavours. The finish is long and slick.
