Dynamic, outstanding, persistent.
Tavel's Chateau d'Aqueria estate's origins go back to 1595; in 1919 it was purchased by Jean Olivier and is now it is run by his grandsons, Vincent and Bruno de Bez.
Located about 10km SE of Chateaunuef du Pape, the 98 hectare site is home to 68 hectares of sustainably farmed vines planted in red clay, sand, galet and limestone scree soils on a single tract of land surrounding the Chateau.
This brilliant ruby wine is a blend of white and red varieties; Grenache (45%) Clairette (20%), Cinsault (15%), Mourvedre (8%), Syrah (6%), Bourboulenc (4%) and Picpoul (2%).

Strawberry, red current and cherry twizzler aromas are woven with rose water, orange blossoms and faint spice. The palate is a slick blast of berries; concentrated and dynamic, powerful and persistent.

Outstanding.
