Enthralling, outstanding, statuesque. Mas La Plana is a 29-hectare vineyard in the heart of Penedes. The first vintage of this wine was 1970 and it is made from Cabernet Sauvignon.
A simply outstanding red with aromas of chocolate cherries, cassis and plums alongside violets, espresso, leather, cigar box, freshly turned earth and leather. The palate echoes the nose; supple with generous fruit it has a silkiness on the tongue and opulent character overall. Balanced and elegant a persistent finish trails coffee and chocolate flavours.
