Approachable, bouncy, quaffable.
Stoneboat makes estate wines from its home vineyard on the Black Sage gravel bar in Oliver. Constructed like a Prosecco, in the charmat (aka cuve close) method (all fermentation happens in tank) this pretty bubbly comes from 35-year-old estate Pinot Blanc vines.
It's reminiscent of a Prosecco in the glass too; delicate orchard fruit, rose scented talc and pretty citrus notes lead to an equally pristine palate. It has a fine bouncy fizz and charming character. Dry-ish and quaffable, it has summer-on-the-patio written all over it.
