Expressive, pleasing, delicious
Three generations of the Fortin Family work together in one of BC's newer wineries. It began in 2008 when Rod and Pat Fortin purchased a property in Oliver. Several years later their son and daughter-in-law purchased an adjoining property and then with sons Taylor and Kelsey added more vineyard built the winery and wine shop.
Made from Cabernet Sauvignon aged 25 months in French oak, this fantastic wine offers sweet raspberry tobacco, currants, vanilla, star anise, clove, chocolate, cinnamon and concord grape aromas , which ead to a classic Cabernet palate. Good bones here, balanced freshness, smooth tannins and expressive fruit underscored by flavours of baking spices and mocha. Lengthy, and drinking very well right now.
