Racy, earthy, dry
One Faith Vineyards is owned by businessman Bill Lui who has his WSET and has taken winemaking courses through UC Davis in California. He is joined by Richard Cleve a veteran Okanagan viticulturalist who planted the (now) One Faith Black Sage vineyard in Oliver in 1992. They make nine wines including this 99% Sauvignon Blanc with 5% Semillon.
Peach and bruised apple aromas are layered with banana, wildflower honey, grapefruit, honey and forest floor notes. It is racy and dry with quite earthy flavours; sage, lanolin and white grapefruit dominate the palate, it has an Old World character.
