Classic, savoury, spiced.
Osoyoos-based Moon Curser make a wide range of wines, many from varieties rare to Canada. Their Syrah is consistently expressive. The 2021 delivers aromas of plum and blackberries, chocolate, vanilla, licorice, cola spices, pipe tobacco and dried violets. The palate echoes the nose with coffee, salted licorice, leather and blackberry flavours. Classic, savoury and spiced.
Pair: grilled or roasted meats aged goat cheeses or rich winter stews.
