Racy, bouncy, slick.
Pioneering one of BC's youngest wine regions, Fort Berens (named after a trading post, which was located on their property some 150 years ago) is located in the sub-GI of Lillooet, BC in the Fraser Canyon.
The Gruner grapes come from their estate, Red Rock Vineyards in Lillooet and it had extended lees contact.
It's a racy variety overall and this version shows classic GV character: lemon balm and wet stone, green apricots and floral-scented talc aromas lead to a juicy and dry palate that is slick, zesty and pristine. It's also dry with a bouncy character and snappy finish.
