Pleasing, classic, comforting.
Tempranillo is common in Spain (and in Portugal as Tinta Roriz) but is a rarity elsewhere in the world.
Moon Curser's version has a warm comforting nose suggesting strawberry jam and sweet cherries, licorice and baking spices, orange peel and violets with hints of white pepper. Juicy and pleasing, the palate echoes the nose with cocoa, licorice, concord grapes and fine spice flavours. Pleasing with nice finesse and chalky tannins, it's a lovely version of this classic.
