WineDiva's Review

Brooding, bold, fresh.
Located on the Golden Mile Bench, Culmina was established by the Triggs family (of Jackson-Triggs fame) in 2007 and was sold in 2019 to Arterra Wines Canada.
This 100% estate grown Malbec was grown in micro-lots in the Arise Vineyard and aged 16-months in mixed use French oak barrels.
A savoury red, it offers chocolate and espresso, wild berries, leather, tobacco and vanilla aromas. It's a brooding wine with distinct salinity and flavours to mimic the nose. Bright and bold with a savoury bitterness on the finish.
Pair: roasted mushrooms, hard cheeses, BBQ and hearty pastas.
