Lively, slick, potent.
This dry reserve tier Riesling is made entirely of Fort Berens Estate fruit from the Dry Creek Vineyard the Fraser Canyon, in Lillooet. It was naturally fermented and aged in French oak according to the bottle but the website says it was aged in stainless.
More reminiscent of the Pfalz than say, Mosel this is a wine with power. It is ntensely scented with peaches and apples along with honey, wildflowers and preserved lemons. Expect a potent white that is expressive and with concentrated flavours of lemon preserves and green apples. Slick and lengthy, it has a mouthwatering finish.
