Specializing in small lot (primarily white) wines, Terravista Vineyards is a gem on the vibrant winemaking region anchored to Penticton called the Naramata Bench.
Their second label En Terre is a new project, seven years in the making. En Terre meaning earthen or of the earth is the embodiment of this special wine series and also the name of Terravista's home vineyard. En Terre reflects their commitment to sustainability and mindful winemaking practices. It is about striking the balance between nature, land and innovative techniques.
The label's distinctive logo, a symbol of the brand's ethos of perpetual motion, draws inspiration from Davinci's golden ratio; a timeless representation of nature's balance and beauty.
There will be five wines in total, but for now, three have been released including a traditional method sparkling brut, a Cabernet Franc and this off-dry Riesling harvested from Okanagan Falls.
Classic aromas of crunchy peaches, green apples and lime with undertones of orange blossom.The palate is taut and racy but balanced; snappy citrus flavours mask the residual sugar beautifully. A lovely expression of Riesling.
