Crisp, fresh, dry.
This recent release of Michael Bartier's consistently pristine pink, which differs in composition each vintage, is a blend of: Gewurztraminer (56%), Chardonnay (24%), Pinot Gris (10%), Kerner (8%), Viognier (2%). The grapes were harvested from the home estate Cerquiera Vineyard on the Black Sage Terrace in Oliver, BC and their second vineyard in Summerland.
A light salmon-pink, this vintage suggests dried orange blossoms and wild red berries, hops and rhubarb with hints of peach skin and spice. It shows notable freshness. Crisp and clean the finish is long with just a whisper of texture.
