Classic, fragrant, woven.
This Malbec comes from old vines planted at 960masl on the Andes Ridge in the province of Mendoza.
The 2019 doles out aromas of purple berries, chocolate, bay leaf, vanilla liqueur, cola spices and dried roses with grapey undertones. Fresh red berries explode on the palate, flavours followed by coffee, dried herbs, charred spice, licorice root and tobacco. A classic Malbec.
Postured and complete, it's a wine with substance.
Pair: grilled or roasted meats, mushroom and thyme stuffed ravioli, hard cheeses.
