WineDiva's Review

Savoury, supple, succulent.
Made from almost 60-year-old estate Corvina Veronese, Corvinone and Rondinella vines, this baby Amarone was aged for 20 months in large neutral oak barrels, then six months more in bottle.
It suggests sweet brown spices, prune, charred orange peel, balsamic, cherry liqueur, leather and tealeaf aromas. Spicy dried red fruit, vanilla and brown spice is expressed on the palate, espresso trails on the finish. It has a supple weight and some chew to the tannins, the finish is savoury.
Age potential 10 years.
