Founded in 2001 by winemaker Ted Kane, River Stone is a small estate winery located in Oliver BC. It's comprised of two estate vineyards: River Rock, the 10-acre home vineyard planted in 2003; Boulder City Vineyard purchased in 2020 and planted in 2005. The estate focuses primarily on Bordeaux-varieties and aromatic whites.
A fragrant wine, it doles out spiced plums and black cherry, vanilla chocolate and pipe tobacco aromas. It has notable freshness with flavours of coffee, leather and dark chocolate. the tannins offer texture and the finish is lengthy.
