Elegant, refined, fragrant.
Lunessence was born in Summerland in 2014 when its owners took over a property in Summerland and named the estate Lunessence: Luna=Moon + Essence.
They believe in sustainable viticulture, balance and harmony in their vineyards, and achieved organic certification in 2020. Unfined and unfiltered this wine spent 8 months in French oak (20% new).
Expect juicy cherry aromas are woven with a splash of raspberry, violets, licorice root, sweet brown spice and pipe tobacco in this fragrant Pinot Noir. Silky and elegant, it has notable freshness and a seamless and expressive palate. Finely hewn, it is both delicate and structured; the finish trails with lingering spice.
