Willowy, racy, pristine. Grown in the sub-GI of Okanagan Falls on Stag's Hollow's estate Shuttleworth Creek Vineyard, this consistently willowy Albarino is a delight. Grown primarily in Spain (and in Portugal where it's known as Alvarinho), it is a refreshing white that can be light and crunchy or offer deeper stone fruit notes.
Stag's Hollow's version is sightly green crunchy peach aromas woven with, gooseberry, grapefruit and wild herbs. Pristine and tangy it's a citrusy mouthful of racy wine with just a hint of hop flavours on the tail end. Overall nice weight and finesse. Pair: seafood and molluscs, but also creamy goat cheese, salads and sushi.
