Singular, complex, zesty.
While I've not had much opportunity to taste the wines of Culmina (located in Oliver and started by the Triggs family) this one arrived in a mixed case of BC wines, and I was excited to taste it.
This Gruner Veltliner was the Okanagan's first, it's a white variety from Austria and tends to be a racy, floral variety.
Notes of grapefruit bitters, musk melon, honeysuckle, charred pine and slate lead to a palate that is concentrated, unique and zesty. It has a smoky sort of elderflower leaf and matchstick character. Singular and complex
