Shy, classic, restraint.
A classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this Grand vin de Bordeaux has a shy nose of black currents and dried roses, leather, pencil shavings and faint baking spice aromas. The palate is equally restrained suggesting charred chocolate and espresso, small wild berries, tobacco and leather.
It's a food wine for certain, hard cheeses, roasted meats, puy lentils or sausage.
