Supple, savoury, spiced
This new estate Lillooet grown Merlot suggests plums and bacon fat, saddle leather and tobacco, toasted spice, roasted red bell peppers wild herbs and blackberries. It is supple and medium-bodied and has notable salinity in the mouth alongside cocoa, smoked spices, tart red berry and tobacco flavours.
Pair with grilled game or bolgnese ragu, hearty bean soups or warm soft cheeses.
