Honey, floral, pristine.
Three decades ago Adolf Kruger started Wild Goose; it was sold to Borrowing Owl Vineyards in 2021.
This outstanding Riesling comes from vines planted 40 years ago and it offers lime, peach, honey, citrus blossom and grapefruity aromas. The palate is zesty and slick, off-dry and juicy, pristine and snappy with citrus flavours.
Pretty and complete.
Second review: June 2024
Zesty green apples and lime, grapefruit, bee pollen, peach stone and wildflower aromas lead to a pristine and fresh with just a kiss of sweetness. It has a slick texture and lively character followed by a long dry and crunchy finish.
