New, weighty, classic.
Made in West Kelowna, from grapes sourced from two vineyards in the Columbia Valley, in Washington State, this new label offers a Roussanne and a Syrah, varieties classic to the Rhone Valley.
The Roussanne was fermented in neutral oak barrels and aged on lees in French oak for 5 months. Roussanne produces a fuller-bodied style of white with medium acidity and higher alcohol, in general. This one is a classic example; smoked lemons, golden apples, pine, candle wax and bruised apple aromas lead to an oily and somewhat resinous palate. It's weighty is bordering on over-ripe with hints of marzipan and lemon peel flavours. Overall, a very good example.
