Impressive, fragrant, seamless.
From the Lazy River vineyard in the Similkameen Valley and the South Rock and Lost Horn vineyards in the Okanagan, Mount Boucherie's reserve tier Syrah was aged in American and French oak.
Expect cherries and roasted beets, blackberry, white pepper, licorice and vanilla on the nose. The palate is more restrained with vague red fruit alongside spice, cedar, tobacco and leather flavours.
Pair:BBQ, savoury casseroles, wild mushrooms, cheese fondue, aged goat cheese and crusty bread slathered in smoky babaganoush.
