Elegant, purity, lovely.
O'Rourke's Peak Cellars is owned by Edmonton businessman Dennis O'Rourke who maintains a 300-acre property of vineyards and orchards called Carrs Landing, and 7-acres around the Peak Cellars Winery in Lake Country; in total, 110-acres of estate vines.
With a nod to the more restrained Alsatian versions, the Broken Granite has a stony nose with jasmine flowers and tropical fruits ad vague spice undertones. It has a lovely weight, mouthwatering acidity and notable purity. Elegant, not cloying or flamboyant.
