A wonderful wine to pair with pastas in red sauces, roasted meats, Italian cheeses and salami or pizza.
It's a blend of indigenous Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara and Oseleta varieties. Expect aromas of finely ground white pepper, sweet cherries, leather and shaved dark chocolate with an earthy core. It's a medium-bodied red with similar sweet cherry and peppery flavours. The finish lingers with bittersweet cocoa and spice.
