Racy, tangy, classic.
The name of the Dragonstone vineyard is said to have some from a fossilized dinosaur footprint. It is a south facing site overlooking the Rhine River.
It is a consummate Riesling, done in the tangy style I prefer. Notes of slate, crunchy green apples, apricot jelly, lime and marmalade spin into a palate that is racy, snappy and dry with a lengthy mouthwatering finish. Nailed it!
