WineDiva's Review

Classic, savoury, supple.
I've not had much opportunity to taste the wines of Culmina (located in Oliver and started by the Triggs family but now owned by Arterra Canada) so this is a new one to me. R&D (research and development) is a blend made on the Golden Mile Bench. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot come together and deliver currents and plum, cocoa, wild sage ad savoury spice aromas. It has a supple entry and is a weave of spicy, savoury, earthy and freshness. Definitely more a Bordeaux-style red, classic in style and body.
