Golden, toasted, fresh.
Formerly known as White Gold Fort Berens has recently rebranded their reserve level wines with new packaging. It comes from vineyards from the Similkameen Valley and from estate vines in Lillooet and was aged in mostly French oak barrels for 9 months.
Toasted spice and yellow fruits, matchstick, grilled lemons, oak and nutty undertones lead to a fresh but textural palate with spice, citrus and crunchy golden apple flavours. Good intensity and precision here, nice length and balance.
Pair: roast chicken, polenta with brown sage butter
