Smooth, savoury, fresh. The Malbec grapes were harvested by hand from two of Burrowing Owl's south Okanagan estate vineyards in Osoyoos. It was aged 16 months in a mix of American, Hungarian and French oak barrels of mixed use.
Notes of sage and spice, wild berry and black plum, cedar, dried flowers, coffee and smoked meat lead to a savoury palate. Fresh purple and red fruits, herbs, bacon and dark chocolate flavours culminate in a smooth and spicy finish.
