WineDiva's Review

Delightful, pristine, fragrant.

Part of Clos du Soleil's series wines, the Winemaker's Series, uses grapes harvested from neighboring farmers; this one still comes from nearby Keremeos, from the sustainably farmed Middle Bench Vineyard.

As expected it is delightfully fragrant and pristine; stone fruits, honeysuckle and tangerine with candied lemon peel atop wild herbal and smoky tones. It has lovely concentration, is juicy, tangy and culminates in a precise and mouthwatering finish.
Pair: Creamy chowders or pastas, grilled fish, roast chicken, smooth cheeses.
