Supple, character, tasty.
This tinto is a blend of classic Portuguese varieties: Castelao, Aragonez and Touriga Nacional. A somewhat rustic nose of spicy wild black and purple fruit is layered with cocoa, cracked pepper, leather and a wash of sweet herbs. The palate is juicy but supple and doles out similar purple fruit alongside baking spice flavours. It's a wine that is approachable but also full of character.
