Through a process of drying grapes called appassimento, this wine and others like it become much more concentrated. The Campofiorin continues the tradition of using classic Veronese grape varieties to produce this aromatic red blend. It offers cherries and violets, baking spices and vanilla with leathery undertones leading to a concentrated but fresh palate. It has very good balance, a smooth texture and a lengthy finish of sweet toasted spice.
Very satisfying!
