Summerland's Okanagan Crush Pad was opened in 2011 as a home for OCP's own label and as a custom crush for other small labels who were in need of winery facilities.
Today they have four in-house labels including Narrative, which was named to tell the story of what is most exciting about the Okanagan Valley: geological and climatic diversity in a wine region that spans 120km from north to south...
The Narrative white is comprised of Chardonnay, Viognier, Gewurztraminer and a touch of Riesling. The components were naturally fermented and aged separately for 8 months in both concrete and stainless steel tanks.
Know as the Narrative White, this approachable aromatic delivers yellow apples and green pear, wildflowers and lemon zest, a hint of spice and herbal undertones. It has a silky texture, bright acidity and pithy finish. An easy drinking white for soups, light pastas, fish, white meat and most starters.
