Fresh, phenolic, slick.
Kitsch Wines is a Kelowna winery, established by born and raised Okanagan residents, Trent and Ria Kitsch. Winemaker Graham Pierce (formerly Black HIlls and Time Winery) joined just last year.
These Riesling grapes come from the sustainably farmed south-west facing, clay-rich soils of the Kitsch family vineyard.
Notes of marmalade and peach stone, honey and straw, dried white flowers and resin with grapefruit peel undertones. It has a slick, slightly off-dry palate and rich lemony character; concentrated and quite powerful with a zesty, phenolic texture.
