The white flagship wine for Clos du Soleil is a version of Bordeaux blanc, combining Sauvignon Blanc (88%) and Semillon (12%).
It is complex and elegant, with supple aromas of beeswax/honey, lanolin, grilled lemons, nettle, toasted cashews and spice with a mineral core. It is silky and concentrated, zesty and comprehensive. It is a white wine, which drinks like a red with attractive pine, lemon oil and waxy citrus peel flavours.
