Savoury, classic, tangy. There is a wide range of wines made at Quails' Gate, but Pinot Noir is a flagship.
The estate version is a good starter; smoked cherries, bacon fat, spice, leather and rainforest floor aromas evolve into a silky and juicy palate. Flavours of beet green, spice and tangy red berries dominate a light-bodied wine.
Pair: salmon, duck, mushroom wellington, truffle risotto, roasted beets.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Olive Oil & Cracked Pepper
