Charming, pristine, juicy.
One of the standouts of the new Kamloops Wine Trail, Harper's Trail is blazing new ground with the assistance of winemaker Michael Bartier.
It's name is derived from the cattle drive trail of pioneer rancher, Thaddeus Harper.
A pretty pale peachy-pink hued wine with aromas of honey and peaches, vanilla, fine spice, summer berries and cedar chips. The palate is tangy and pristine with spiced cranberry flavours. Balanced, mouthwatering and lengthy. Spot-on and exceedingly quaffable. Pair:: salty charcuterie, fresh oysters and tangy, creamy cheeses.
