This 88% Sauvignon Blanc and 12% Semillon is a classic Bordeaux blend, but with the California name (fume blanc) given to a lightly oaked version of Sauvignon Blanc, a term coined by Robert Mondavi.
A delightfully piquant nose of sweet snap peas, gooseberry, passionfruit. lime and elderflower lead to a tangy and zesty palate. Concentrated and complex and weighty and stylish make this a delicious and racy white.
Pair: oysters and other seafood, white meats, appetizers or cheese platters.
