Stylish, persistent, concentrated.
Stag's Hollow's was established 25 years ago, in the sub-GI of Okanagan Falls. There they farm two estate vineyards: Stag's Hollow and the Shuttleworth Creek Vineyard; this premium estate-grown Merlot is grown on the former's gravel soils with a southwest-facing aspect.
Plums and blackberries, vanilla, cola spices, chocolate and fresh earth. Concentrated cherry and kirsch flavours are woven with vanilla, cocoa, wild herbs and oak spice. A balanced and stylish red with a wild side, and notable persistence.
